2nd Avenue (formerly ETC 2nd Avenue) is a Philippine cable television produced and founded by Solar Entertainment Corporation which also created its sister stations, Universal Channel, Talk TV, Diva Universal, ETC, Jack TV, Basketball TV, & Solar Sports. It carries a schedule of mostly newer broadcast and cable dramas and sitcoms imported from the United States, along with infotainment programming from that country in the daytime hours.
As of January 1, 2008, 2nd Avenue ceased to air over SkyCable. However, it is still available over RJTV 29 (Channel 19 on SkyCable and Channel 29 on Global Destiny Cable). Dream Satellite TV had stopped airing the channel effective February 2009.[1] 2nd Avenue returned on Dream Satellte TV on channel 21 effective May 1, 2009 but removed on October 2011.

2nd Avenue (formerly ETC 2nd Avenue) is a general entertainment channel in the Philippines, owned by Solar Entertainment Corporation. ETC 2nd Avenue launched December 15, 2005 and started test broadcasts.
On the first day of 2008, 2nd Avenue made its debut on RJTV 29 and selected cities nationwide. However at certain times of the week, RJTV pre-empts some 2nd Avenue shows to air its own shows.[2] A new on-air look and new shows has been announced by 2nd Avenue and will be done on March 21, 2008.
2nd Avenue Programs offers dramas, general news & information, game shows, lifestyle, entertainment news, talk shows, sitcoms, and reality shows. Most of its shows are broadcasted from the 2nd Avenue's Solar Entertainment Corporation over Rajah Broadcasting Network inc. (RJTV 29).
